Sometimes the hunger of wanting to
know a secret starves your curiosity so badly, you’d do anything to find out.
That’s exactly what Toronto dance-punk band Death From Above 1979 did to their
fans.
Does that sound like cruel torture to you? Well, actually, they had a
pretty cool treat in store because the band played two SECRET local shows last
week. On September third and fourth, the band set up a pop up shop at 952 Queen
Street West in Toronto, which doubled as an album release party (and also
featured limited edition merch!). They even had temporary tattoos; how's that for some edge?
Not only were these shows kept on the down
low, but they were also FREE. How cool is that?Sounds like a pretty sweet
deal to me.
