Girl Missing From Toronto Music Festival Found

When 15-year-old Hannah Batty went missing from Toronto's Vans Warped Tour on July 4, her case went viral on the Internet.

Police reports said that she was last seen at Ontario Place (the festival venue) around 8 p.m. before she disappeared. Numerous local news agencies, as well as national agencies, such as CBC, spread the word about the missing Batty. Not only were these standard outlets giving this case a signal boost, as well as social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr, but bands on and not on Warped tour were spreading awareness as well.

Artists such as Vic Fuentes of Pierce the Veil, as well as Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens used their fame and high follower-count on Instagram to spread awareness to fans and people of the music community. This just goes to show how serious the case was, especially since police said that they were concerned for the girl's safety.

Concert goers, tour personnel, vendors, and bands were all urged to come forward with information or even photos of the young girl...

But the good news, according to The Toronto Sun is that today SHE HAS BEEN FOUND (http://www.torontosun.com/2014/07/09/girl-15-missing-after-warped-tour-in-toronto).

There's no word on where she was found just yet, but this post is to dispel any rumors that are circulating across the Internet, as confirmed by a reputable news source. People on social media have been pointing fingers and making conspiracy theories saying that this was a hoax, etc. But with the help of police, the spread of awareness with social media, especially boosted with the help of famous musicians and regular people, she has been indeed found.
