The Misfits @ The Opera House

Horror-punk trailblazers, The Misfits, rocked The Opera House in Toronto and proved that after 35 years of existence, they still know how to seduce a crowd.

On Thursday October, 25, The Misfits performed a concert accompanied with five opening acts, and the crowd went wild.

"The crowd went nuts for The Misfits...Lots of high energy [was present] and everyone was singing along and pumping their fists," said concert-goer, Stephanie Tran.

At one point, the amount of people attempting to crowd surf got so high that security guards had to stay and crouch on stage to supervise.

People continually tried to thrust themselves off the stage, but only one attempt succeeded. This reaction to the band is indeed positive.

A highlight of the night was when The Misfits performed "Scream". That song is classic Misfits and it fit in very well with the lively atmosphere.

Jerry Only, vocalist, even provoked further reaction from the crowd when he completely rolled his eyes back as the fog machines went on. This was a memorable moment in the show since it's not something one sees everyday.

A concert-goer in the crowd even said to a guest that they need to scream more and wave their hands in the air. It even got to a point where the crowd is attempting to energize the crowd.

"[It] seemed like they [the crowd] all enjoyed their time," said Tran.
