New Music For All You Music Enthusiasts to Check Out

As a music enthusiast myself, I'm always on the hunt for new music and bands to listen to and support. For those of you also on the hunt, here's a great one for you: it has the catchy beat of a pop song, with a touch of heavier guitar, and the hipness of an indie alternative song. "Guitar World" describes the sound as "dark pop." Are you ready to find out what this mysterious song/artist could be?

It's a new hit from 3-piece band, Bailiff; it's their song called, "Golden Hour." Click HERE to listen to it!

Golden Hour is the first single from the Chicago band's upcoming EP, "Remisell." It contains four tracks and is a follow up to their previous release called, "Remise." Personally, I haven't heard the EP in its entirety myself, but according to Guitar World, they say, "The four track EP journeys from emphatic indie anthems to sprawling rock ballads, all of which radiate with a newfound brightness and playfulness, while at the same time showcasing Bailiff’s stronger and more refined songwriting." I could see how Golden Hour encapsulates this essence as described by that publication.

If you still aren't 100 per cent sold on Bailiff's Golden Hour, this should make their "cool factor" go up: they've opened for the likes of bands such as Dinosaur Jr., The Lumineers, and Beau Sorenson of Death Cab for Cutie. Neat eh?
