Releases:

The Acacia Strain has released their new album today called "Death Is the Only Mortal". It contains 10 new tracks.

On November 13, Machine Head will release their first live album since 2003, "Machine F*****g Head Live". On top of that, it's a double album, containing 15 live tracks, including: Davidian, Halo, and Locust. It was recorded among their various tour stops last year.

Don't panic because today All Time Low released their latest album, "Don't Panic". The album contains 12 tracks, including their single, "For Baltimore".

Tours:

Indie week in Toronto kicks off tomorrow, and lasts up until Sunday. Opening and closing parties take place Wednesday and Sunday.

Beginning November 25, Killswitch Engage begins their US tour, performing their 2002 album, "Alive or Just Breathing", every night in its entirety.

More from Machine Head: they will begin their North American tour on October 30, accompanied by Dethklok, All That Remains, and The Black Dahlia Murder.


Random Tidbits of Interest:

Local band (GTA based), Sykopath, has finally filled their wanted position for a bassist. The former three-piece deathcore trio welcomes Andrew Cox into the band.

For those über fans out there living in California that would like to own a piece of metal (literally), Mitch Lucker, lead vocalist of Suicide Silence, is selling a bicycle that he had personally fixed and restored himself. You could be the one to buy it!

Pearl Jam and Kings of Leon have joined forces. On October 3, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder and King's of Leon's Caleb Followill shared the stage performing at Oracle Open World on Treasure Island at San Fransisco.
