Good day my little rock stars!
The past couple of months since I have begun running this blog have been great. Running The Rock Spot is something that makes me so happy and it is something that I am very passionate about. Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far and to all my blog viewers - you guys are dynamite.
I also wanted to say that my first year in university is beginning soon and it is a very exciting time for me. For the first couple of weeks that school begins, I will try my best to update TRS, as I will be super busy. However, I will NEVER abandon TRS! So keep reading folks - you will not be disappointed. I will do my upmost best to update often.
Also, in the mood for barbecued meat and music? Dean Blundell's "Sausagefest" (by Toronto's 102.1 The Edge) begins today at 2pm at Sound Academy. Why should you go? You should go because who doesn't like food and music, especially when these two entities are combined. Bands playing include: Sloan, Monster Truck, The Watchmen, and more. Oh, and did I mention the first 1000 people get a free sausage? Mmm, mmm!
On a different note, what is the first album you ever bought growing up? Take a second to think about this. Recall the joy and pleasure this album brought you. Perhaps it wasn't a rock album. Regardless, leave us a comment at the bottom of this post telling us what it was.
Anyways, that's all for now folks. Stay tuned for more, and have a rockin' day!
Stumbled on this page, and I'm pretty sure you're the same Alexia my friend Tracy Laranjo keeps raving about. Maybe I'm just crazy.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, the first CD I ever got was the Flashpoint live album by the Rolling Stones. The first album I bought myself was KISS Gold. Fuck yeah.
Shit. That was totally a lie. Now that I think back more on it, my first self-bought album was Elephant by The White Stripes. I still hold it dear to my heart to this very day.
DeleteThat would be me- definitely the same Alexia! That's a great first album \m/
DeleteSo nice to see my two pals with awesome taste on here.
