TORONTO- 19-year-old woman, Taylor Nesseth, collapsed during Vans Warped Tour (at the Flats at Molson Ampitheatre) and was later pronounced dead. Her untimely death occurred in the middle of Chelsea Grin's set at the Monster Energy stage, when she collapsed on the hill near the stage. After ten minutes of attempting to resuscitate her, medics brought her to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The Monster Energy stage was shut down for the rest of the day, and the band schedule had to be modified in order to accommodate the lineup. Chelsea Grin ended their performance early due to this tragedy.
The cause of death is uncertain for now, however, it is still being investigated.
